In south Wisconsin, USA, I have a house with many large old oak trees and we are on a large lake. I also noticed a significant reduction in bugs this year. Almost no mayflies, which typically hatch in June. Fewer birds and zero bats! I was wondering if it is 5G too?

I have been making my own yogurts for about one year now. Dr. William Davis [book: Supergut] recommends fermenting L. Reuteri for 36 hours. I have been making 36 hrs yogurts with all sorts of other cultures as well, incl. Bifido [VIVO brand]. But basically any probiotic, either pill or powder, can be cultured. I recommend a yogurt maker with time and temperature control as some cultures prefer a cooler temperature [i.e. L. Reuteri at 37C]. When using the 36 hrs fermentation method a probiotic such as Inulin needs to be added as food supply for the bacteria.
