Quercetin is a major representative of the flavonoid subclass of flavonols, derived from Latin word “Quercetum” meaning “Oak Forest”.
Quercetin is yellow in appearance, found in vegetables and fruits including capers, kale, broccoli, cilantro, dill, green leafy vegetables, apples, orange, red grapes, berries (strawberry, raspberry, cherry), buckwheat, and green tea, coffee, red wine. (click here)
